Our mentor at the Retreat is
Didi Ananda Sainjana
Yoga instructor, alternative medicine specialist from Singapore.

o Practices yoga for more than 30 years, learnt yoga of 5 different traditions;
o Has been holding programs on healthy nutrition and has worked in medical centers of 12 different countries;
o Is certified in 5 countries (Australia, Great Britain, Sweden, India and Singapore);
o Has administered more than 20 detox retreats in Kirgizstan, Russia, and Abkhazia with total number of above 300 participants.

In the late 80s Didi took an interest in the methods of maintaining, improving health, yoga, aromatherapy, massage and fitness. Didi practiced rhythmic hatha yoga and became an instructor of Vivekananda and Rajadhiraja Schools of Yoga. Since then she has been practicing yoga of different traditions – Bihar, Satyananda, Ashtanga-Vinyasa, Vini-yoga, Yin-yoga. Didi participated in conferences and is a member of corresponding yoga associations. Since 2000 Didi has been teaching yoga in Australia, China, Hong-Kong, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenia, Kirgizstan, Macau, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Tanzania, Taiwan.

Both experienced yoga practitioners and those how are quite new to meditation report very high states during meditations at the Detox retreat. All of the participants confirm significant progress in personal practice of meditation after the Detox retreat.

Location
Location – Dragonflies’ Land – a very special, beautiful place, with cozy, eco-friendly dwelling houses, sauna, some picturesque ponds, arbors and amazing meditation hall. The place is only 25 km from Vilnius. In the houses there are showers, separate bathrooms, a relaxation area, mini-kitchen, cozy rooms for 2-4 people. The retreat center has a lot of space for walking and relaxing in the open air. The very atmosphere of the place is conducive to relaxation, unity with nature, introspection and meditation.

This was my first magical detox! Words cannot express the feeling of lightness that is now present in my mind and body! During detox, cleansing takes place not only on the physical, but also on the mental level, so your mind gets free of any vain, worldly thoughts. On the third day of fasting, I felt that my thoughts and emotions may not necessarily be connected, which is important to remain in balance! This is a wonderful experience of immersion in your inner world.
As for the physical state, throughout the detox I didn’t have that feeling that I’m fasting, the program was so diverse and intensive, that there was no time for thoughts about food)
To summarize it, detox for me is: I lost 4,5 kg and a ton of disturbing thoughts! An excellent result, as for me! Many thanks to the organizers’ team, volunteers and participants for that flow we managed to create! I am definitely going to come next time and will be inviting my friends, because this positive experience is worth going through.

Hello to everyone! I first visited detox in 2019; it was in beautiful Karelia. Before the detox I doubted if I would be able to keep to the diet of the program, and not die of hunger)). I overcame all my fears, decided to go and now happy to share my impressions with you.
My biggest fear of hunger disappeared when we were given a big glass of delicious fresh juice, the portions of smoothies also surprised me – 400-450 ml, sometimes too big to finish them. The program was so diverse, we were almost all the time busy: lectures, workshops, asana-classes, meditations, sauna with mud-baths, walks along the banks of beautiful Ladoga. There was no time to feel bored.
Changes after the detox (I’m writing 4 months later): 1. Previously it was a problem for me to do 1-day fasting, it was like a very big deal for me. After the detox I am fasting regularly twice a month, can easily do that. 2. I became a smoothy-fan! I got so much charmed by this simple meal that I started making it almost every morning. 3. I feel like I started to understand better which food is more beneficial for me. During the lectures Didi told about many nuances of using different products. For example, cucumber is very beneficial in morning, but bad for digestion, if you eat it in the evening. 4. After the detox I pay more attention to the amount of water I drink during the day, try to follow Didi’s advice. 5. I will surely go to detox in the future. I am looking forward to repeating this experience)))
